We are in the hot steamy time of year in Florida but things are happening in the back yard. Our pentas bloom no matter the heat or weather, our citrus ripens, the anthurium are blooming along with a few orchids and...surprise, surprise a lone gardenia bloom graces the hedge at the side of the yard. So in spite of the heat, there are compensations.
